Frequently asked questions

IS THE COUNTRYSIDE FLOWERING RIGHT NOW? WHEN IS IT MORE FLOWERING?

In Aires de Lavanda we grow different varietals (types) of lavender, and each one blooms at different times of the year.

Therefore, the appearance of the field is constantly changing: some sections may be in full bloom, while others are freshly pruned or resting.

After each flowering we perform a natural pruning, which helps keep the plants healthy and stimulate new flowers. During this process we collect the flowers to distill essential oil, the heart of our natural products.

In summary:

The field can look very different from one week to the next.

Sometimes it is full of purple tones, other times more green or dry depending on the weather, the prounding or the varietal in turn.

Each visit is different, and there is always something special to discover - from the aromas to the artisanal process behind our products.
